INTEGRATION OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PART 2

As I do every summer, I take a course of some kind to continue the learning and self-improvement. This summer is a little different. I found my inner techie wannabe.
I have always been the one who knew computers, downloaded new software and could
somehow troubleshoot someone out of a jam.

I have been pursuing tech professional development for years and completed a Learning Strategist Specialist and an Assistive Technology Specialist all involving using technology to assist students with learning difficulties but found a passion in me to use this for everyone. I became an advocate. On who seems to fall on deaf ears in an environment where teachers and professionals wait for training instead of seek it out.

This tech AQ course has been in just three short days- the best learning I have ever encountered. When introduced via webcam and conference to our teacher and mentor Anthony Carabache- I knew I had finally found someone who truly meant for his students to reach and to be tested.

There were so many very small things that always stumped me but that no one could teach me how to figure these techie treats and tricks until now.

I am in love with JING! True the Notebook software for Smart Board has a screen capture and video, but a little more strenuous to interact with various software. This little sun at the top of my screen follows me recording and helps me get around so many video troubles.

I am struggling with this blog...have a lot to learn.

I have spent 9-11 hours at my computer hooked on these assignments this week with 30 degree sunshine and a pool in my backyard! Trust me, I tried to do my work poolside but these old eyes cannot see the screen in the sun!
Well, I know it is worth all the time. I have learned so much and am lost in time as I dive into these tasks that Anthony challenges us with.
